Aventura Mall, one of the nation’s most recognized mall destinations, completed a comprehensive $22 million renovation and 250,000 square foot expansion in February 2008. The renovation and expansion of the 2.7 million square-foot mall, one of the top ranked retail centers in the nation, included common areas, adding a fresh, contemporary feel to the local icon, fine Italian porcelain flooring, new sculpted railings of glass and bronze and lush carpet insets with custom seating in the common areas.
